Because obviously her bad performances aren’t her fault. It’s the coach’s fault. :)

Sometimes, a change is good, I guess. And maybe the new coach didn’t agree with her so she changed again. I guess only she and the close ones in there really know the real reason.

It’s not unusual for a figure skater to change coaches, especially one with a strong personality, like Sasha seems to have. As she’s gotten older, she’s needed different things from coaches, and that’s likely influenced her decision. In addition, despite her high level of skill and her huge successes, many fans still feel like she hasn’t fulfilled her potential – so she may be searching for someone who can help her win those big events.

With some skaters, they feel like their first coach can still help them through what they need as they’ve gotten older, more mature, as their skating has changed, and as their own personality has changed. Sometimes, a coaching change is necessary simply because the skater feels like they need to take more control of their own skating, but their coach still sees them as the kid that they were.

because she doesn’t want to face reality and blame herself for choking under pressure like Kurt Browning or Michelle Kwan….
